The "Zaz" Movement Theater

Z.M.T combines theater, dance, mime and pentomime in a stylised synthesis, an exact choreography of movement and words.
Z.M.T. seeks to explore the thin line between comedy and drama, realism and absurdety, characters and situations shift from high poetry to grotesque. Laughter and pain coexist as reality and illusion intermingle.
OSHER! (BLISS!)
The latest creation from the home of Zaz Movement Theater

How we met:
It was a hot summer evening , in a tiny cafe, joined by our common friend Adrian the clown who did not actually show up for the meeting… so we got yapping and found we actually think and follow similar parameters in the exploration of our work: Keren in sound and me in movement. We collaborated in “ Nothing but the Ear” and “No Voice, No Answer” and will work again in the next REFLEX project.

But beyond the performances, there is friendship, support and a
sharing of ideas, a community of artists from different disciplines who
join together to bring about innovation in performance.
Besides which, one can enjoy a killer quiche at social gatherings!

OSHER! (BLISS!) 2002

Is a surrealistic duet for a woman and a doll, a comic fantasy about longing for love, praying for passion and the mystery of marriage.
OSHER! an absurdist comedy in movement and (some) words, funny and serious, intriguing and sexy, thought provoking and clownish. For the next performance of Osher check out "NEWS"
