Commissioned
in 1998 for the Susan Dalal Center, Tel-Aviv for the "Curtain Up"
Dance Festival. For cello, piccolo, dancer, and electronic pre-recorded
soundtrack. The idea for the piece was to collaborate with a flamenco
dancer, and Neta Shezaf, a world renowned flamenco dancer and choreographer
took the challenge. "The movement is in the music and in the players,
the dance is in the melody, and the music is created by the dance" |
